Today I decided to do something different. I made a MT out of some Ikea fabric I picked up ages ago. It cost me around $7 for the fabric and a few hours work!!! Lucky kids got to spend te day playing with the hose and running a muck eating iceypoles lol.

Well its Sunday and I am tired!!
Another week has gone by and I am buggered. The kids are feeling heaps better so we have been trying to be active. A couple of days at playgroup and catching up with wonderful people :-)
Not much has been happening on the knitting front this week though. I am still doing Eliza's beanie. Somehow I keep getting side tracked online lol, who doesn't.
I have a swap going on MM and I am really excited. I am just waiting on supplies to get started. I can't wait. Although I am always nervous sending someone something I have made. But seeing the items I have made on someone else's kids is such an uplifting feeling.

Yawn!!!
Man I just feel so tired these days. My whole body feels like its running out of batteries. I am still exclusively breastfeeding Eliza so maybe that has something to do with it. Oh and running around with two toddlers. I reckon I need to pick up some vitamins and see if that helps. So unfortunately the housework will have to wait hehehehahahaha.
I have been practicing crochet a fair bit lately. Hopefully I will get these pants finished for Eliza soon. Somehow I keep mucking up the join. Oh well it is still heaps of fun for now ;-)

So...........

Its been a while since I have blogged. Maybe I should make Sunday night blogging night. Well we will see if I can actually do it hey ;-)
Heaps has happened since my last post. We have had a bubby, and her name is Eliza Katherine. She was welcomed earthside on the 20th April. Luckily dad was there to hold my hand :-) A whole 39 minutes of labour after having my waters broken - sorry had to put that in :-p
Joel will be 2 next month *sigh* he is such a little man. Looks so much like his daddy too. I just cant believe how much energy he can have.
Paige is a darling, she is such a great helper and very head strong just like her mummy. At least she got something from me.
Me I am happy staying at home with the kids, although it tends to feel a bit like groundhog day over and over again. Not much happens here in sleepy Leinster. We have really been enjoying kinder gym and we all hang out for Friday to roll along.
I also have been knitting up a storm. A few weeks ago I took a crochet class and have knitted a few granny squares. Today I decided to do something a little more challenging and cast on a beanie for Paige. I am just under half way through. Probably would have finished by now it I didn't bugger it up near the beginning.

Uh oh, I've been tagged

So thanks Tracey for tagging me "rolleyes".
I have never done this before so bear with me.
The Rules
So here are the official rules: Show Us Your Blog Spot!
1. Once you are tagged, post a picture of where you blog. This might mean a picture of your cozy bed, or your office at work (you naughty employee, you!) Feel free to be creative, but be honest–if your desk is usually covered in Ritz crackers and love letters to Brad Pitt, then show us!
2. Feel free to tell us a little about your space, or explain certain items in more detail. Or not.
3. Link back to this post. (I want to see how far this goes!)
4. Tag five other bloggers to show their blog spots.
5. If you are tagged and do not participate, you will become allergic to cabbage. (who wouldn’t want to be allergic to cabbage now )

So this is where I blog, on the front veranda when I can get a moments peace and quiet. No point showing you my laptop (you all know what they look like) But my view is to die for.
Now I don't know who to tag, everyone has already been tagged LOL
Another year older
Well its that time again tomorrow, my birthday. Another year older and another whole bunch of things I have not done. I don't know why but I always seem to get bummed on my birthday. I wonder if the last few years have something to do with either being pregnant or breastfeeding. The last 4 birthdays I have been able to do nothing. So this year will be no different :-( Just a quietly with my hubby and two special children in a sleepy town doing the same thing that we do everyday.

Mmmm easy peasy Fudge Brownie
So we are having a BBQ at our local pool with K & J and little A. I have had this wicked sweet tooth of late (thanks Eliza) so googled a couple of recipes.
I came across this one, I changed it slightly, they forgot to say how many eggs so we guessed and I used less sugar. So easy and only used 1 pot, spoon, Measuring cup and cake tin.
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
6 tbs cocoa
2 tbs oil
2 eggs
2/3 cup flour
1 tsp vanilla
Melt butter in pan take of heat, stir in sugar and cocoa then oil. Add eggs one at a time, then flour and vanilla. Pour into greased tin and bake for 18 mins. Alow to cool slightly before turning out.
Easy :-)
